Very beautiful area. Great for weddings and tons of toys to keep yourself busy or the kids busy while you relax and enjoy the ocean view.

Cottage like homes are very comforting and inviting. Wood supplied (with axe) to get the fire place going inside the home.

to sum it all up, Doug and Cheryl were very helpful, patient and easy to work with. The Alders beach was a true gem and perfect for the wedding venue we were looking for. we rented the entire resort for our wedding and everybody enjoyed their cabins. the kids love the beach and our whole family gathered under one big tent that rented. <3

the location was private, serene and provided the true meaning of west coast lifestyle. actually, after getting married here, i want to book a stay here next summer! I absolutey love this place!! id recommend this to any DIY-ers bride

We have just arrived home from our son & daughter-in-law’s wedding this past weekend! Such a truly beautiful destination! From the moment we arrived at the resort we were welcomed.

The managers, Cheryl & Doug were extremely helpful with set up ideas for the wedding ceremony. Doug even volunteered his help with clean up the night of the reception, which was completely unexpected!

The cabin was amazing! Clean, well stocked with linens, towels & dishes with several BBQ’s amongst the resort for patron use. We sat on the covered deck each morning, drinking our coffee & soaking up the salty air! It was pure heaven!

If you are planning a special getaway on the water without TV & all the distractions, I highly recommend giving this resort rich in history a try! You will not be disappointed !
